This limited run of the Hand Blown Columbus #10 globe is very unique. The mould for this globe sat unused for many years, and actually rusted inside. It became so rusty that it pitted the mould, and even though it was thoroughly cleaned, the tiny pits remained. I eventually decided to use the mould, and the result was a slight "texture" to the globe that I feel gives it an "antiqued" look when viewed closely. It even has the faint embossing of the Columbus logo.
