Columbus is one of my favorite machines, and I have several in my collection. This is a Model 46, so named because that's the year it was first manufactured. It was originally made to vend pistachios, but gumballs go through it very well. This machine came to me in, shall we say, well used, condition. I won't repaint a machine unless it is a total wreck - which this was. So I decided to be a little different and paint it yellow with the black crackle effect. I bead blasted every part of the machine before painting, The finish is satin to make it look more vintage. How did I do? The globe is newer, made from the original mold, and hold down rods are also new. (I told you it was a wreck). The globe came with a unique decal, so I kept it on. But if you want a Columbus decal on it, buy it from me, and I will apply it for free on the other side of the globe so you can have both! I will even send a couple of small padlocks to keep the machine together on your countertop. If you would like more photos, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with your request. Shipping is free to the Lower 48 States.
