Classic Victor Topper Gumball Machine circa. 1950

The Victor Topper was one of the most popular vending machines ever built. Hundreds of thousands were made in its various forms, but, like so many other "classics", they are getting harder to find. Well, this is one machine that has seen action and lived to tell about it. It is a true gumball machine with a gumball vending wheel, and a very nice agitator. Everything on this Topper is original: globe, decal paint, chrome. Wait! I did replace the rubber suction feet that had cracked. And I cleaned the machine inside and out. Even the lock is original, and the key is the same one I got from the vendor who sold it to me. It had been on a route for 40 years, and sat in a warehouse another 20.
